Privacy statement
This professional services website keeps information collection to a minimum.
Service inquiries
The contact form collects your name, email address, selected service, and the message you submit. Company, phone, website, and timing are optional. Scott uses these details to respond to your inquiry and discuss a potential engagement, rather than adding you to marketing lists.
Submissions are encrypted and stored in a restricted location on this website’s Azure-hosted server. When email notifications are enabled, Microsoft Azure Communication Services delivers the inquiry to Scott’s Microsoft 365 mailbox. An automated receipt is also sent to the email address you provide. It contains a reference number and does not repeat your inquiry message. Email engagement tracking is disabled. These records are accessible to Scott and authorized administrators, and retained as needed for the inquiry, any resulting engagement, and applicable recordkeeping obligations. You may email Scott to request access, correction, or deletion of your inquiry, subject to those obligations. Please do not include passwords or confidential customer information.
Cookies and server logs
This site has no advertising trackers, analytics, or public user accounts. A necessary security cookie helps protect the contact form against forged submissions. Server logs may contain request information such as IP addresses and requested pages. IP addresses are used temporarily to limit excessive submissions; they are not saved with inquiry records.
Email and external links
Email links open your email application, and your email provider handles that communication under its own policies. LinkedIn, the Internet Archive, and venture websites have their own privacy policies and data practices.
